On our last day, the car was as solid as it was on day one – quick, reliable and no major problems to report. As a driver I don't think you could wish for anything more. We're already looking forward to the next test and hope that we will continue to make steady progress.
Obviously we'll only know where we are once we cross the starting line at Albert Park but I can already tell that the RB9 is an improved version of the RB8 and that we are making good progress. Both Mark and I could feel the difference and as long as our feeling's right, we should be fine.
We still have to test the new Pirelli tyres. That wasn't on the programme here in Jerez, but will take a good look of them in Barcelona. Everyone'e aware of the fact that the tyres can be decisive and so we will do everything we can to ensure that they work for us.
